Volunteer Open House at The Frost Art Museum 1/10/12

Volunteer Open House
Tuesday January 10th at 10 am

The Frost Art Museum is currently seeking Museum Ambassadors for the Docent Program and museum volunteers.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Frost Art Museum; they enable the museum to engage our diverse visitors in exciting and enriching programs, creating memorable learning experiences.

Applicants should enjoy interacting with the public but if you prefer to work behind the scenes- we have many opportunities for you. Training takes place on Mondays at the museum from 10- 12 noon and continues through the end of Spring Semester.

If you love art, this is a wonderful way to learn and interact with artists, scholars and curators in addition to participating in many special events, art fairs, films and lectures.

Come to learn more about our program and about becoming a Frost Ambassador. The open house will take place at The Frost Art Museum in room 105. Questions? Contact Miriam Machado or Linda Powers 305 348 1808 or mmachado@fiu.edu or lpowers@fiu.edu.

We are also seeking volunteers for our P.S Project. Volunteers will be assisting the artist, Michael Genovese, in transcribing the metal plates. Don't miss a chance to be part of our Visiting Artist program.
