This free outdoor event promises a day of family-friendly fun while raising nonprofit awareness, promoting civic engagement and connecting the community to nonprofit resources at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus.
PhilanthroFest, the nation’s largest festival of its kind, is back and promises to be bigger and better than ever. Fulfilling the mission of its namesake organization, this year’s PhilanthroFest helps bridge the gap between local nonprofit organizations and members of the community – making it easier to get the help you need or give the help you can provide.
For Miami residents who are interested in donating time or money to help those in need, PhilanthroFest provides the opportunity to learn more about local nonprofits and meet the people behind them face to face. PhilanthroFest also serves as a nonprofit marketplace, raising awareness of the services and benefits that nonprofits and community agencies are able to provide.
